Jhpiego Department Overviews & Orientations
Overview:The introductory review period for U.S.-based Jhpiego hires is 120 days. This 120-day introductory review period serves as a time to welcome new team members and introduce them to key aspects of Jhpiego, team culture and processes, and their specific role and job responsibilities. It also serves as a vetting time for both Jhpiego and the employee. During this designated time, managers assess the new employee for suitability to the organization and the job, while the new employee evaluates fit with the work, culture, and other aspects of the role. Performance expectations during this period should take into consideration that the employee is learning and acclimatizing to a new work environment. Completion of the introductory period is not a guarantee or a right to continue employment.Revised August 1, 2022
