The course covers basic best-practice learning theory and practical tips for effective learning facilitation and skills transfer. Each module takes approximately 30 – 60 minutes to complete, is interactive, includes targeted real-world video content, and ends with a quiz as well as additional resources.

Course description: This course is a blended program, combining digital learning with regular peer sessions and practice and feedback opportunities with live, instructor led training.  The goals of this course include: 

  • Identify key elements of effective leadership  
  • Demonstrate excellence in classroom teaching, facilitating clinical practice, assessing learning and evaluating teaching.  
  • Ensure gender-sensitive pedagogical approaches and a gender equitable environment in classroom and clinical.  

This course includes 15 interactive eLearning modules, each one approximately 30-45 minutes in length, with opportunities for live, instructor led training for practice and feedback sessions.  Please review the syllabus in the Learner Workbook for detailed guidance on the course. The reference manual includes all the key references already linked with each module.
